back in 2004 Bobbe was for the first time introduced to Promat steel guitars... for the rest of his life he remained a big fan, and supporter of Promat RIP my friend, I will always remember and miss you...
"how does he (Mr.Papic) do that (talking about the tone of the guitar)?" Bobbe asked me sitting behind the Promat, I said "I really don't know"
this was the only time ever, that I can remember seeing Bobbe speechless ...

Damir, as someone who is still trying to learn to play one of these, I have read a lot of material, but have never read anything as to the difference between a push-pull and an all pull. Can you please inform me. I have a Mullen Discovery and a Zum StageOne (which I love) and I have (I think), an Encore on order. I have not heard that much about this model. I think there built in Germany. Right?

Jim, I am really not an expert, or not even close to it, to try to explain this to you, but thats why we have this great forum, there is lots of knowledgeable people around here, and if you check this topic it will explain you what you want to know

Discovery, Stage One, and Encore are all great guitars, I played all three of them, and have nothing but good to say about any of them... this Promat is a push pull unlike the other three..so it's going to be little different, and little more mechanically complicated, but the tone is superb... I would play on any stage, any time, any of those 4 guitars, it just depends on you what you prefer ... Promat is made in Novi Sad, Serbia by Mr. Dusan and Slobodan Papic

Steven, most Promat guitars are in Europe, you may possibly find someone who has one, and try his, there is only 7 Promats in US ... there will be some videos of this guitar for sure, and I'll post it here as soon as I get it...

Yes Damir, I know about Promat being European and I also know they are very rare! I haven't seen anyone in England with one haha.
Will look forward to the vids.

yes, it is very rare, it is custom made for each customer, one at the time, there is probably around 30 of them out there, but people who own them don't sell, so they are hard to find, I have D10 and S10, and another D10 on order, so I'm good lol ... I'm pretty sure there is some in England, I do know there is at least one in Scotland tho...only 6 are in US, so the rest are all in Europe...

I can understand why nobody sells them haha.

Bob, my SE10 is ready, I think they are working on recording some video clips, there was quite a few emails asking about the video of the guitar...as soon as that is done guitar will be on its way to me... if you order a new D10, I believe it takes about 6 months to get it...but you'd have to talk to the guys at Promat to get exact details...
