Okay, in response to several email inquiries, I have a:

1964 D-10 woodneck bolt-on;
1964 D-10 wraparound;
1965 D-10 wraparound;
1965 S-10 wraparound.

I play all these guitars, incidentally.

I'm way down in the collection, since Bob Hoffnar got my 66 bolt-on and Bobby Flores got the Bill Johnson wraparound. Lucky fellows, they.

A LLIII 10&9 counter force on both necks and all the compensators. Black with BL710s. Bought it 3 years ago from John Hughey. This guitar is very stable and trouble free. I couldn't be happier.

1974, D-10, Ash Sunburst, Lacquer, PP w/ 9+9. This guitar rings like a bell. Mike Cass has my 80's Black Mica D-12 that will end up w/9 + 9 once I figure out which changes I want on it.

I have only 2 steels, both push pulls 12 strings single neck, I've installed locking nuts on both guitars, the tuning stability is second to none, and the tone is great on both, I don't ever consider "upgrading" to any other guitar.

I've still got my old blue LeGrande II Loafer with a Lawrence 710 and it's the only steel guitar I play anymore. Although it's starting to show some wear, it still tunes and plays flawlessly, sounds great and is utterly reliable. With 3 pedals and 6 knees and every string moving, that guitar is capable of playing anything I can think up and a whole lot of things I can't even hear in my mind. Really I couldn't ask for a better guitar. When the day comes that I buy a new steel, it will be set up just like this one.

Just received my 71 D-10, 8-5, mica body, wood necks, bolt-on changer, SN 1491 from Mike Cass.

I purchased this guitar from a player who had owned it for 30 years. He purchased the guitar from Faron Youngs steel player. Faron Youngs name and address are stenciled on the blue case.

The guitar was in sade shape but still in remarkable condition with all things considered. The case was held together with 200 mph ducking tape.

I have several other Emmons to compare this guitar with and I can honestly say this guitar has a sound and tone all its own.

Mike did an incredable job of making this guitar new again. As soon as I can figure out my ditigal camera I will post some pictures of it.

I own 2 1980 Emmons D-10 push pulls.
one Rosewood Mica, one Black Mica,
They both sound awesome.
I use only a little 'verb as an effect, and play through a Peavey Nashville 1000.

Mahhhhhhhvellous!
