Gary Dygert,
Sorry for the delay in responding to your friendly message. Yes, I remember where you and the other steel players were seated at the Home Club, in Hinsdale, Ma., on that happy day. I wish that I had Rob's phone #. He had visited my home years ago, (early 80's) with his dad Paul, when he came to purchase a reworked Fender 1000 from me. At the time, it was the most decorated with leather tooled front similar to a frontispiece, that I had seen. My name was tooled into the leather, surrounded by North American Indian designs. Ray Daury of Pittsfield, Ma., produced the finished product. Rob's dad, Paul Reynolds, played a set on a Fender 400 that day, after which his performance was followed by his son Robbie on fiddle and pedal steel guitar; (Emmons, push/pull dbl.10). The little tot that spent some time near Rob while he was performing, must be fully grown, considering the time that has passed since the family visit. My good buddy Les has a library of VCR tapes. The Reynold's family performances are included, I remember that the VCR camera was in place and running at the show. Please ask Rob if I may have his phone #. Thanks..
