I agree with Dave, as do many others, I'm sure. This new music should not be called country. Have you noticed, those in power have omitted the word western from Country & Western? Sad

With all of this overtone of what's wrong with the music business and with all styles, nothing going to change but the people who run it til they die.Life is a beautiful thing in music.Everything else is BS.Just think how many people we pay to be here on earth and feel like we own something.Music is the freedom for all in hiding all what's in us.That's what makes a steel guitarist so special from others. So,let's just all cry together and do thomething about the wrong who's messing up our neighborhoods in -----------------------------------? Murderer/Criminal/Brutal and just a litle bad at what's got me bad.Leo J.Eiffert,Jr. :whoa: Pigeons poop again! ;-) :D

I agree with George and Bob. Mcgraw is not a legend. Ray Price is a legend.

My wife and I owned and operated a music store here for about ten years or so.. We got out of that business about a year ago.. A lot of young people would come in,,some of them with enough metal in there face to start a small junkyard..Some of them had the weirdest looking hair,,some had green hair, pink hair, multi-coloured,,etc... I never judge anyone,,and about all of these kids were very polite..I would ask them if they liked country music..They usually would say,"no man",,but I like Johnny Cash... I have found that a lot of the young people can relate to Cash's music...The one's I have talked to who went to the movie about his life,,said they really liked it and especially the music...Most of them didn't know a thing about country music,,but still knew who Johnny Cash was,,or had at least heard of him..
Where the CMA is headed is anyone's guess,,as none of us can predict the future..I hardly ever have a radio on,,so a lot of time the I really don't know what's being played...I do find that a lot the today's music doesn't have a lot of substance, but maybe that's just me....Carson
