A "BIG" "THANK YOU" to each one involved in the
Fulton Show. I had a great time and I enjoyed so
much getting to meet my forum friends and to hear
some monster players.
There were so many encouraging people at this event. Everyone had a kind word for me and each other. I love it.

Jackie has a great place for such things. Congratulations on your success,Lem, See ya
next year.

Lem, Jack, and all those that got things done for the Jam , thanks for bringing your second Jam for all of us to enjoy and we look forward to the next. Great seeing my friends and making new ones, and listening to some very gifted musicians. Along with the steel guitar pickers and guitar players, drummers, and keys , the vocals and harmonys were second to none in the state. I don't believe any of um got throwed out. :D
Can't wait till the next time,--Skip

We missed you being there Dale, and hope you can be there the next go around. You would have surely enjoyed it!

I'm not sure Dale, but you may have played the Emmons that Tommy brought. It was the one that I used to own, and I think that Jackie let Ben Hall take it and try it out, so I'm thinking you may have had a chance to play it then. There is absolutely NO comparison to that guitar's sound when I had it, and now that Tommy has done his mod to it. If you did play it, then I hope you get a chance to play it again and listen to it now, since the mod.

A highlight for me was definitely the Jim Parker/Doc Rickles set. Good country tunes with a ton of class.
Great Job, Fellas! I am proud to call you my friends.

I was wondering if anybody here caught the live feed on the internet? I'm curious as to how it looked and sounded.

Mike, true story... My own mother, as well as my wife and two kids, tuned in and watched parts of it on the internet. All of them thought Robby Turner was me when he first got up to do his set! I'm sure it only took about two notes into it though, before they figured out that it wasn't!!! Actually I had two or three people tell me that day that they thought Robby and I favored each other. All I can say to that is that I offer Robby my sincere condolences and I hope he don't hold it against those folks!!! haha

I want to thank Lem and all who had a part in putting on this show. Every player was oustanding from start to finish. The musicians were par excellance.Food was outstandindg, so much that I ate way too much. Saw and met so many new friends and the hospitality was wonderful. Will definitely be there next year. The temperature was excellent this year compared to the heat last year. Thanks for all the work done in this area. The new stage and setting was great. Made you feel like you were at the OPRY. It was one of the most enjoyable times I have ever had at a steel show. The 3rd year should
be a blast.
Peace and blessing on all in Fulton from Alabama.

I totally agree with you Doc. This was a perfect setting for a steel show. It will be very difficult to find a nicer bunch of folks anywhere. Plus being surrounded with great singers/players the whole time. Count me in as a regular. Thanks again to everyone in Fulton. Great job guys!

floyed arbuckle, of cleveland, mississippi, was the cat behind the metalic blue telecaster this weekend.
i spoke with him tonite and he sez' that the doctor told him that his grin is permanently embedded on his face probably due to over-exposure of something so good that it is most likely illegal. floyd told him it had somethin' to do with steelin'. the doc sez', see i told you! i knew you had committed a crime! to which floyd sez', the crime was, that it had to come to an end!
as has been mentioned by others, ol' floyd, has driven a lot further to see a lot lesser show, ...quantity and quality, but will not miss another tombigbee steel guitar show.
he still can't quit grinnin'!
thanxxx to everybody for everything...it was real!
