Not really sure about dealer reps. We will have an area with the MAGNUM & CARTER STARTER info available, as we'll be giving away a new Carter Starter during the show. I've been in contact with Mike Brown thru emails but nothing confirmed. More tickets sold, more folks coming. We're all headed south to the Ocean Springs show this coming Saturday. Thanks! (Eddie is the proud owner of a new S-10D Magnum, blue birdseye mica, 3 & 5, beautiful guitar and a fine player, as well.)

Getting closer. Still selling tickets to the Aug.3rd MSP show in Laurel, MS. Not many left as of 7-2-07. Awards were picked up this evening that are being given on 8-3-07 during the show. Everybody's in place, as far as players and staff are concerned. I imagine we'll have a few surprise steel players show up with players that are on the schedule. Maybe they'll bring there guitars. We'll work each one in somewhere. They can have the sets I'm scheduled to fill in, if needed. Not a problem. Just come on and if anybody wants to use my D-10 Fessy, they're welcome to it also. Plenty of music and fun with an evening of Classic Country, Western Swing and Steel Guitars. More later!

Hi Billy, sure was great to see all the support this past weekend here on the coast.
I am already precticing for my portion on your MSP program on 8-3. Thanks for the invitation to this great Mississippi event. I am sure proud to see all this wonderful support for you and your efforts.
Your show will be the one for the books.
Your set this past Sat. in Ocean Springs was so very good. Never heard you sounding better. And we were glad to provide a space for those Young Modifications to our pedal steels. I had a few moments to try one out and the tone is just crystal clear. Only wish we could have had a walled off room where they could they could have really been demoed properly. Next time we will.
See you soon in Laurel.

Hey Bill,
Great show this past Saturday. DSSGA done a excellent job. Hate I had to leave early but had Saturday night gig. Tommy Young's mod's are really good. Don't know what he's doing but it's works. If I hadn't just bought a new Fessy, I would have bought the D-10 black Mullen. Never found a guitar with that sound. I'm going to change the p/u's on the Fessy and put Wallace TT's on it. That's what was on the Mullen at 18000 ohms. Bring Hank on 8-3. Thanks again for a great show. See ya buddy!

ThANKS GUY's for the kind words about my MODS it has been a long hard battle to find what I have found with these so very sensitive instruments that we so dearly LOVE and appreciate but the MOD is getting bigger and better each day and I'm really proud of the gift that GOD gave me just hope everyone gets a chance to play one of these MODDED guitars for themselves to see if it is what they want on their guitar Thanks TOMMY
PS:looking forward to the msp show next

As our Aug.3rd show approaches, we have almost completed the roster for our Dec.7th show. The 11:00pm & 11:30pm slots are the only two remaining unfilled at this time. I'll list everything in order at a later date after the 8-3 show but here's a list of everybody that's either playing or singing. Steel players are myself, Winston Street, Jim Parker, Hal Higgins, Danny Harrell and Jimmy Powell at this time. Singers are Terry Mozingo, Ellis Olsen, Tom Harris, B.R. Rogers, Jeannie Ezell Wooten, Doc Rickles, B. C. Dueitt, and Odessa Gant. I'm sure we'll add more players/singers later but this is good at this time. Our third show will be in April 08'. More later. Thanks.

Gosh you mean i got to hear this Doc fellow sing again. I got him up at a show one time and he sang all those old hank thompson songs i did not have a clue about playing them. But he did say he was country and that i will agree. Looking forward to seeing all of you guys the 3rd. Heck Doc maybe you can learn a gene watson song by then and maybe i might no it. Had to add a little humor to the post.

Jim you are absolutely, positively right. I am pure country. Now I know why you were having trouble. I was singing Hank Williams songs not Hank Thompson.
But just for you I'll learn a Gene Autry song or two.
You have to humor these young upstarts on steel.
I just sing to kill time, someone told me last week to keep it up I had the right weapon.

Here's our MSP list for steel players that are scheduled to play on 8-3. I imagine we'll have a few steelmen not on the playlist that will be added on the spot. Here's the list and the brands of guitar that'll be used, as far as I know: BOBBY RAY(MSA), EDDIE FREEMAN (MAGNUM), JIM PARKER ( EMMONS), WINSTON STREET (FESSENDEN), ROYCE TARVER (EMMONS), BILL STAFFORD (EXCEL), BUCK GRANTHAM (MULLEN), LEM SMITH (SHO-BUD) AND ME (MAGNUM). TOMMY YOUNG is supposed to be there also with some modded guitars, as well. We'll also have several steelmen from other areas around Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama that'll probably be there. We're expecting around 40 steel players, including the one's playing to come by. If a person likes Classic Country and Steel Guitar mixed with some Western Swing, Laurel, MS. is the place to be on 8-3-07!

Just wanted to wish you good luck with the show. With all those good players you should have a full house. I didn't have a chance to tell you how much I enjoyed your set at Ocean Springs. You sounded great. Hope I can be over there for the next one.
