Paul's got Buddy's syndrome: Can play a billion notes but knows when not to. Pretty!!

I'm with Trap on this one. While Paul did the Opry special with Martina featuring the songs from her CD; Timeless, Wayne did the CMA show with Martina.
Wayne did an excellent job. Paul did the studio versions on 'Timeless' too. It's a great CD of traditional country music - songs Martina sang with her fathers band in Kansas as a youth.

Both answers could be correct.

It's common for artists perform to tracks on most awards shows.

There's no doubt that's a Carter on stage.

As Joey said, that's a Carter. That's always been a favorite song of mine and I love the way they do it without a lot of chords, it sounds so pretty that way. My band likes to put as many chords and suspensions in a song as they can. More is not always better. ( If our singer looked like Martina I'd never gripe about anything ).

It is hard for me to tell with a dark stage. I could never see the name on the steel. However, I will go with David on this one. I just do not see him posting videos of other steel players without their permission.

I don't think David posted this clip, he provided a link to a clip that is already up on YT. This clip is about Martina not Wayne Dahl , why would he need permission ?

I believe what Bob is referring to with the permission thing is a clip about the Steel player , by name..in title..perhaps recorded at a Steel show, not a link to a TV performance which was already seen by millions.

WOW! Wayne sure is a great player.....and he's playing a carter! I am really excited now because Al Brisco just emailed to tell me my new carter is at his store in Toronto. I should have it in a couple of days, and if I can make it sound half as good as wayne does I will be more than happy!!
