Help in identifying and dating (sigh) a P/P Emmons
I'm hoping I can impose on one of the many knowledgeable forum members here to help me figure out exactly what model/year of Emmons I have. I can't make out the pot code on the tone pot and I'm not finding a serial number anywhere. All I know is it's a push/pull SD10 in wood mica with 4 levers and 3 pedals.
Any clues or information would be greatly appreciated. I'm not looking to sell, I'm just curious as to her age.

EMMONS
The smaller Legrande type pedals would indicate probably and early 80's model

Wow, great response! Thanks Herb, that definitely narrows down the era. Erv, I'll flip the steel over when I get home tonight and take a look. Gentlemen, I thank you very much for the info. I'll let you know what I find.

Mike,
Based on the black anodized pedals, I would guess it might have been built in 1981. I think Emmons stopped using the cast pedals and began using those around then. I'd give them a call at Emmons because chances are they still have the warranty card on file. Just give them the serial number and you might get your answer.

Sorry Herb, didn't mean to sound pushy. The number just kinda got my curiosity piqued. Thanks Brandon and Lynn, that's a great suggestion. I'll contact Emmons directly.
Again a big thanks to all of you for sharing your knowledge and steering me in the right direction.

Rebecca at Emmons got right back to me with info from the original warranty card. What a gal! Turns out it was sold in 1981 to the same store where I found it used 17 years later.
A big thanks again to everyone for their help.
