Oklahoma: COPSGC Changes!

Post by Bob Belcher »

To all the very fine pickers and sliders I have known the members of the Central Oklahoma Pedal Steel Guitar Club have to be one of the greatest bunch of guys and gals that I have ever had the pleasure to be aquainted with! I want to announce that I am stepping down from my present capacity of President within this club and am Handing the torch to two of the finest individuals that I know of. Your new president for the remainder of this year is Mr. James Morehead, and the VP Slot is Mr. Gerald Cook. These individuals have the drive, passion, insight and creativity to keep this club going in the direction in which you deserve! Open elections will be held during January but I feel that these individuals deserve the credit for keeping COPSGC alive and gaining momentum, don't forget that come January! I will maintain a "lower key" presence and try to focus more on our website upkeep (I know it's been lacking)and whatever I can do. Thank you for contending with me during this last year and I know COPSGC will make grat waves and be a Club recognized as one of the "Good-Un's"...Take care my friends.

Bob, I thought you were doing a pretty darn good job. Maybe we can "hire" you as the full-time cook if you don't have time to be our fearless leader anymore. I never went home hungry.
