Nashville 112 and Nashville 1000 kits (Burr Brown)

Post by Ken Fox »

These are used in the Nashville 400, Session 500, Profex, Profex 2, Bassfex, Nashville 112 and Nashville 1000 as an audio enhancement.

I have been told that changing them out in the N-112 and N-1000 would void the 5 year warranty! Please be aware of that.

I ship Global Priority Mail or Priority Mail for the local 48.

Email for price. I also have instructions for the Profex 2/Bassfex, Nashville 400, Session 500, N-112 and N-1000.

PayPal preferred.

One of the guys that I sold a set to said it made his Nashville 112 sound like his 1000 (he liked the sound of his 1000 better and was happy with the new sound of his 112).

That's good or bad, depending on your preference.

Electronically, the chip is far superior to the factory installed op-amps.

Did'nt Mike B say that the new ones now allready have the new chips in them? Is the warranty void because we are puting them in our selves?

I am not certain the newer ones have the chips in them at all. You might call Mike and ask. As far as the warranty, I am only relaying what I was told.

OPA2604 Chip

Post by Danny Sherbon »

I put the Burr Brown chips in my NV1000. I played the same club in Amarillo TX on Fri and Sat. I put them in for the Sat. night job. I could really tell the difference in sound. It was warmer and fatter on Sat. I would highly recommend making a purchase of these chips from Ken. The chips took me about 10 minutes to install. The drawing that was included made it a very simple and quick job.
Thank you Ken Fox

What's all this talk of changing the "chips" in my Nashville 1000? What should I expect to gain? How hard is it? What's the cost?

The same chip is used in the Profex 2, N-400, V-400, N-112 and N-1000 upgrades.

These chips have less background noise and a warmer tone. Most folks like them. Only a few (less than a 3 people I recall) ever said they liked the old chips better. I have sold or installed close to 1500 of these chips in Peavey products with great success.
