How would you concert standard E9th to extended E9th. This is probably the wrong place. So Bob if you thank it should be moved go ahead. Actually I would like to expand it to the merits of extended E9th. I dearly love the 10 string soung on C6th. Go ahead hit me |

No need to convert. The string numbers on the tab will be the same as the ones you will play on your 12 string. Its just that the tab won't go onto strings 11 and 12. |

Robert,
I write some tab with the 8 & 10 string grips. With an extended E-9th setup, you can add the 12th string to the grip. I tried the extended E-9 tuning but just couldn't get accoustomed to the extra strings when grabbing for a particular grip. |
