Is This A Supro???

Never seen one like this before. Anyone know for sure what brand this is?

I vote no. Body style similar, but: wrong pickups, knobs, hand rests, headstock shape, no serial# plate, fretboards incorrect, and wrong leg sockets. Anything else? By the way, I own a 1960 Supro console (double 6) that I bought from the original owner. It is a rockin' little monster. This looks like an early 60's Japanese copy...

Oh thats good. A seller with no history whatsoever and who wont take a credit card, expecting the buyer to send them cash on good faith, wont accept bids from anyone who doesn't have any history either.

I had a Supro dbl 6 ca. 1947 give or take. It in no way resembled this one except for the fact it had two necks. I never liked it because both necks were the same level makind it tough to play the far neck. I finally broke the necks apart and built laminated plywood.one layer of 1/4" under both necks and 1/2" under the far neck.
It had tapered necks from the key end to about 10" from the pu end. It was covered in brown MOTS tops and sides w/ brown felt on the bottom. It had SUPRO in gold paint on the key end. The pickups were a rectangular coil with a magnet across each end, all held together with screws through a plate on top. The magnets eventually lost their strength so I gave it away. I think they also made them in grey MOTS. The price is now @ $2.25, I think that's fair.

I had a Supro double 6 that was a grey marble plastic like finish whn I was about 14 or 15 (now 74). I wish I had it back. I have played pedals since 1954 so I probably couldn't hit a lick on non-pedal now but I sure would love to have that Supro back.
This is my first posting on the non-pedal part of the Forum.

It went for $304.00
