Buddy, I'd, also, suggest Jeff Newman's "C6th Workshop", but add to that, "C6th and Swingin". They are really intended to be one huge course to take you from C6th beginner to advanced. Each one picks up where the previous one left off. He gives you a very solid foundation in the use of pedals 5, 6, and 7.
