Need help identifying year models on vintage Fender equipt.

Post by George Kimery »

How can I find out what year the following things were made? I need to know for eBay, and if possible, it would be nice if anybody has any idea as to the value of any of these items. They are all in 98% like new condition. I think they are 60's vintage, but not sure. Deluxe Reverb amp, Vibrolux Reverb amp, Thinline Telecaster guitar, and a Precision Bass. I have all the numbers, but don't know how to decipher them.

I would appreciate any help.

The following web site lists info about identifying fednder amps: http://www.ampwares.com/ffg/index.html. I have used it many times.

George
If those amps are blackface and in good
condition with original cover.
You have some pretty desirable amps.
Even if they are as new as '68 or '69
they are still nice.

Good luck

Jay, can you pay for the shipping on a Nigerian bank account? If so, I will consider it. LOL

The last link Ken posted is one every Fender amp owner should know about, and will get you as close as possible as far as amps go. I use that list dating an amp for someone almost every day.
No chops, but great tone
1930's/40's Rickenbacher/Rickenbacker 6&8 string lap steels
1921 Weissenborn Style 2; Hilo&Schireson hollownecks
Appalachian, Regal & Dobro squarenecks
