There are some beautiful new lap-style acoustics coming out of Australia these days. I played several of Paddy Burgin's Australian blackwood guitars at the Newport Guitar show and they sounded wonderful. These look very intriguing too ... check out the Tim Kill 12-string! and the narrow-body. That turtle inlay is unique and beautiful.
