Sierra 14 string

Post by Willis Vanderberg »

Black Sierra 14 string universal, Crown Series guitar.
Nine pedals and seven knees. Serial number indicates this is a 1982. It is gearless, plays out very well and stays in tune. This guitar has little playing time on it and is a very pretty guitar. Comes with a CushCase and manual from Sierra. The CoPedant is on Seirra's web site.It is set up as they recommend.
$ 2000.00 plus shipping.

copedant change

Are these complicated to work on.

I am planning a 14 string E13 and this looks to have all the right hardware but not necessarily in the right order. :D

I don't think they are hard to work on. I have made a few adjustments on this one to get it back to the factory settings. It is a very well engineered mechanism. The only thing I can find to be concerned with is the weight. The guitar in the case is heavey.
If I was to keep it ,I would order a new SKB Wheel eze case from Sierra. They assure me they will have one to fit this guitar.If you have further question maybe some forum members can help you.If I was ten years younger I would keep it myself.

I can't believe this guitar hasn't been sold already. It was a steal at $2000 and now it's down to $1600? Are you guys all asleep out there? If I hadn't purchased two of these Sierras already, it would be mine. (But, I've had my wife for nearly 50 years, so don't think I want to lose her now :lol: :wink: ). ttt for a BARGAIN
