This is my second attempt at building a steel. All my machine work is done and parts are ready for the buffing machine (the worst part of the project). Lots of work but loads of fun also. Martin. SORRY THE PICS DIDN,T COME OUT. SEE ABOVE POST. Martin.

Wow Martin!
You must have all the tools needed! And the skill too!
I am struggling with a home-built also and my parts don't look as good as yours.
What all do you have for machines? CNC? Water cutter?

I use mostly hand tools and it is slow and laborious.
Your changer mechanism looks neat.Could you post a pic of just the parts for one finger? It looks like you made the scissors out of aluminum too.

Looking forward to seeing/hearing the finished product!
