I've been fighting the battle with the 60 cycle hum for the last year or so. I dearly love the True Tones in my Fessys and Mullen, but I've given up and gone back to humbuckers. I've played in a few venues here in Western North Carolina where the hum was louder than the music. Now, unless I'm picking, there's dead silence.

Having said that, I've tried two thing that have worked ok in most cases, without killing tone. First is the "Decimator". For a relitively inexpensive stomp box, it worked nicely. Last Sunday, my band was in the studio for the day, and the engineer brought out one of the rack mounted Hush units. Definitely the best thing I've used so far, but it did not completely get rid of the hum. Haven't tried the Hush pedal version.
