New "Wimpy" on YouTube

Post by Bill Ferguson »

Well I've been kind of lazy lately about getting videos up. Sorry guys and gals, please don't fire me.

Here's one of my absolute favorite clips by one of my very favorite players, Larry "Wimpy" Sasser.

This is the true meaning of pedal steel guitar and Country music.

My friend,

Bill, you're a jewel, thanks for the great videos. Thats absolutely beautiful. He does a dangest slants at about 140, then just to show it wasn't a fluke he does it again at 325. I met Wimpy when he was about 19 and playing with Kenny Surrett. He was already a great picker.
