Hey Basil, the playing on that Zambeezi is so clipped-clean, it's spectangular. Fantabulous. Geo

Basil. Right on our kid. Ou wuz born in Dudley Rud hospital meself. At university in Exeter they beat the Brum out of me, and I turned out with a Devonshire-Brummy accent. Now after 26 years living in California I have the most mixed-up accent you can imagine ! My wife reckons my speech changes about half way over the Atlantic, and I speak English and American as if they were different languages. Nowadays I fly to Brum via Amsterdam: it avoids the hassle of the London area. I get a chance to practise my Dutch, and by the time I reach Birmingham I've assimilated.

Now if I could only remember which side of the road the drive on............

Oh, and me grandad wuz a tram driver.
