Just saw this on the statilite.
Classic ole film.
I noticed more steelers in this film
than in any single film I can remember.
Clint always was good to musicians,
from country to jazz, and 70's funk.
(Just saw The Enforcer too this afternoon.)
So who all played all that steel in EWWBL?

| I'd guess Jay Dee Maness or Sonny Garrish. The band that I was in at the time was in that movie. You'd have to not blink to see us, but we made it on the back cover of the soundtrack LP:) I used to get $10-11 royalty checks from that!!!LOL |

Eddie Rabbit did the theme song.
But not sure how much of the backing score,
that wasn't time and place oriented
background of your life country.
There was a lot of band secenes
and I saw about 3 steelers,
maybe another. So a certainly large
steeler content in the film.

That's not Sheb Wooley on bass, it's Cliff Crofford one of my old bandmates at Bonnie Price's Foothill Club in Signal Hill (Long Beach), California. Cliff wrote some of the tunes in the movie.....JH in Va.

| Jeff Newman was in that movie also, plus one other of his. Jeff told me just before he died that he still got some small royalty checks from them. |
