I found this service!
Maybe it is old news, but I used this great service to download several of those nice clips Bil and the others posted on youtube to my computer and bunt them into DVD's. I just wish I knew about it when those great old clips with Buddy Emmons in it, were still available.

It took me a while to find the answer to that question. Youtube is “public domain” so you cannot (and should not) publish protected material. All material therefore is available to copy. If it is a crime to do so, than this service is an illegal activity and it is still very much alive (but also very busy)
Sorry Bill to misspell your name, my wordprocessor (ms word, dutch version) actualy thinks I misspelled every word I write here so I dont even bother to check anything, but your name should be spelled in gold instead of black, the way you share your videos to us and therefor are promoting the steelguitar your way, deserves all our gratitude.

The "youtube is down message" only means it is busy. Just keep on trying , it mostly takes me two or three takes in a row to get it going. But on the other hand, on my old mac I can go as far as four downloads at the same time. So if you pick a quiet time (in europe this is easier than in the usa) , half an hour of downloading brings me half an hour of video. And if you can make it work for you, remember the service welcomes donations!
