Update of June 24th GaSGA Peachjam and Special Guests

Post by Bill Cunningham »

We are finalizing the list of players for the June 24th GaSGA PeachJam. In addition to several great local and regional players, John Hughey, Larry Sasser, and Herby Wallace have confirmed. I want to thank these fine folks up front for volunteering their time for our particular cause this show. We are promoting this show as a fundraiser for Yvonne Moore’s medical treatments.

We are amassing quite a collection of raffle items including CD’s and videos from many of the best known and popular steel players around. We have several items from George L’s and even a Peavey Amp courtesy of Bobbe Seymour!! If you have raffle donations, please let Steve Gies know at sgeis2000@netzero.com.

Please join us in Atlanta at the Yarab Shrine Temple from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM June 24th.

Edited to say that Randy Beavers has a conflict and will not be able to join us. Look below for a complete list of players.

Donna I will not comming to the show, but the money I would haave spent I am sending to Larry, I talked to Evoyne today and told her I will not be going to the next several shows but sending the money saved by not going to help them in their time of need. Have a great time and miss us, and hug some one for me.

It's going to be a wonderful show - and for such deserving people!

Ernie, YOU are a true angel. What a self-less thing to do! But I would give anything if you and your girls could make it, too! It's been entirely too long since I've had my Ernie/Nan/Belinda FIX!! Is it possible???

Brett, we really look forward to seeing you, Sweetie. Just a few weeks away!!

We're still praying for Yvonne!!!

Love,
Donna

Hey Bill,

I'll get there as quick as I can Sunday morning, but it may not be real early. I'm working a fairly late gig Saturday night, so hopefully Wayne S. or maybe Roger will be there early. Let me know if that is a problem.

Folks, this is a show we should all support, even if we can't attend. The Moores are wonderful friends and could certainly use our help and support right now.

See ya there,
Jim

This is a show that not only has a direct effect on some dear friends, but provides a great stage for all to see and hear. The backup band can't be beat. The food is always just like home. Parking is free and plentiful. It will be a day full of unforgetable fun.
Thanks for letting me be a part of this celebration.
