The guitar has been recovered. Brian got a call yesterday from the Wichita Falls Police saying they have the guitar and the guy who took it in custody.

We want to thank you all for spreading the word and my hats off to the Police and the guys at Mcarty's Music for getting a good description and IDing the guy.

Thank you all. The twang will continue!

Hey Friends,
I just wanted to get the word out that last night in Wichita Falls, Texas at the LaQuinta Inn between the times of 3am and 7am, Brian's 1968 Silver Sparkle Telecaster was stolen. We think thats all they got, but will know more later.

If any of you see this come up, please give us a shout. The number below is our road managers, and I'm sure there will be a reward.

Thank You Friends, Ed Adkins

Damn, Ed... that was a fine guitar! Evil or Very Mad And very distinctive. I have a feeling a guitar like that will be recovered shortly, though Brian is probably closer to devastated than confident right now.

Was it in the band trailer?

Stuff like this made me stop taking my vintage Emmonses on the road, or carrying them up to the hotel room when I did.

I'll be on the lookout, and I'll tell the rest of Gary P.'s band as well.

Whassup with Brian's luck? Wasn't he recently run off the road by a drunk driver and his car took a flying leap off a bridge?

Sure hate to hear about Brian's Tele, hope he finds it soon, I know he loved that guitar, I have a 1970 Tele and if I lost it, I would really be sad, I haven't played it in 25 years but I take it out of the case and pick a little now and then and clean it up. I love that guitar. I been playing steel guitar the last 20 years
