My RV-3 is distorting and when I'm not playing it sounds like springs slightly shakin' in a amp for about a second then after 3 to 5 seconds it will do it again. Today's the first time it has done i. I use the power supply and I've not dropped it. Thanks for any help.

Tony, I'd start looking for a replacment. Unless you have the knack for repairing electronics, just find another one. |

Tony I sent mine back to the factory and they went through it and sent it back in ten days and all it cost was shipping, you have to get an authorization No. from customer service before you can send it, but it's not a big deal. Most music stores have the 800 # to Roland. Hope this helps......... gary |

My RV-3 sounded like that once. I was using
a generic power supply. I switched to
the correct Roland power supply and the
noise stopped.

Hey Rick I'll double check that when I get home and if that's not the problem I'll do what Gary suggested. I enjoyed talking to you a Jeff's studio. I'll let you know when I'll be back there. Thanks everybody who have posted and e-mailed me about the RV3.

Rick, it was the power supply and it was a generic. I've got a boss power supply and hooked it up and was fine. Thanks again everybody.

I've tried to use both the Boss RV3 and a Boss Chorus pedal with a 9 volt battery (both were new batteries) yet neither worked with the device. Anyone else had this trouble, and if so, is there a fix? Thanks steve t |
