I need a black Dell #9 key for school. Someone must have playing around and removed it. Anyone have a junked keyboard for this?
Thanks, Ron

There are many different Dell model keyboards. Unless you can find an exact same model the buttons may not fit. |

I think they all use the same keys. |

I have two Dell keyboards, both recent models, and they don't have all the same keys. |

I meant the standard keys like letters and numbers can be swapped.

Again, not all are interchangeable. The tops may be the same but the mechanical connection to the key switch may not be the same size/design.
Dell tends to make proprietary components and even change design on the proprietary components. e.g. there are three (that I know of) proprietary (and undocumented) front panel power connectors used on their systems, they do not use a "standard" Molex connector to the motherboard. |
