1938 Supro 60 Lap Steel With Built In Amp In Case

I might have posted this before or tried to post it and it didn't go through. Has anyone out there ever seen a 1939-40-41 Supro 60 lap steel that came with a built in amplifier in the case? I have one and would like to know more about it. The case is rectangular and has a slide in area that accepts the guitar. I believe they made these for just a couple years, maybe three. 1939-1940-41. The guitar is painted silver, which I believe is original. Thanks for any info. Dave A. Burley

hi dave, i have 2 of these with the 5 tube amps. 1 guitar is refinished [natural] by me to cover bad refi from previous owner and one is silver mots. i also have silvertone case amps and an incredible airline amp in case, obviously i am demented in this area [laps,tubes and tweed] and seek a cure. rob [slide zone] compulsive restorer of oldies. i'll e-mail more.
