Re-Broadcast of Steelin' By Request with Jody Carver

Post by Lana Rosselli »

Okay, going to try this for the first time. Please be kind!!!

The demand for a re-broadcast of my May show Steelin' By Request with special guest Jody Carver has been granted but I want you to vote on which day to schedule the re-broadcast. If the choice is Mon - Fri the show will air 7 PM Central Time. If Saturday or Sunday is chosen, then the show will air at 2 PM Central Time. I'll give you 30 days to make the choice so spread the word!!

Hope this works!!

Al,you feel that a rebroadcast should be scheduled for Wednesday? Why thats Prince Spaghetti Day in Boston and Lana wont have many listeners. Cucci was Italian and his version of Sicilian Tarantella is a killer. Check out Chopin's Minute Waltz as well.

Question for Lana, Lana how many votes determine the day the rebroadcast will be aired?

Thanx edited Ron Brennan is Italian, his legal name is Ronaldo Brennana 8)

Same for me, Al.

That's why they call us "Weekend Warriors".

I voted Tuesday, but any non-weekend day is good for me.

Jody - I planned on airing the re-broadcast in July in order to give the folks enough time to cast their votes. Which ever day gets the most votes is the day it will air. I'm not cutting the poll off at a specific number of votes rather after a specific number of days.

And the pleasure has been all mine! I learned quite a bit from our many chats and the time on the radio. It's a good thing you didn't have a web cam at your house, Smiley Roberts may have seen your pajamas and decided he wanted a pair!

Thanks for all you have done and continue to do for steel guitar. You're truly one in a million!

You're Welcome Miss Lana

Post by Jody Carver »

Lana, thank you for doing a special show for me.It was
fun,I think July will be a good time to rebroadcast your show.As for Smiley? I need not be concerned about him wanting my tweed pajamas, I gave him a nice
bikini made of tweed and it has a carrying handle so he can take it on gig's  but when he sits down the metal amp corners cause a severe inflamation.

I hope I was of some help to you,in spite of all the years I have been on radio etc, I too learned much from you. Thank you again and keep in touch by email
when you wish.

Thanx

Jody

Hi Lana,I received a two set cd yesterday and I want to thank you for having me on your show. It was fun and your easy going style and personality made me feel at home. I sure wished we could do another show sometime.

Thank you who called in and those of you who pre-recorded messages for me, I'm sorry I wasn't able to
answer all of your question regarding the future of the steel guitar, at this juncture I would say Steel guitars are sky rocketing in popularity and thank all of you, Joey Ace, Bob Maickel, Jr. Knight and a special thanks to my buddy Hank Pell. I had a good time. Lana, your autograph made it special for me and those two cd's will be a part of my memories of all the things I have done during my lifetime. Thanks again. PS Scotty's words humbled me, I never knew I could feel as I did when he came into the studio and said those nice things about me. There are many who are deserving of the Hall Of Fame and I hope that those who are wanting to be inducted will in the years
ahead. It was an honor for me to be on your show. And a very special thanks to my good friends Laurie and Roy Ayres for their comments. I had a real good time,I pray that the frets of the lives of all of you go on and on for years to come.

God be with all of you.

Lana, thank you again.

Thanx

Copy Of Show

Post by Michael Scott »

Jody,

Miss Lana does not make copies of our shows...I do. I am her executive producer as well as the producer of all our shows. I am also the lead engineer and programmer. In fact...I'm the sole owner of SteelRadio and every show that is aired. Miss Lana does not have a copy of this show. It is kept in my archival library with every other show we have aired since 1999.

It is not our policy to make our shows available for sale or copy. Our license does not cover this type reproduction. This is being done strictly as a favor. Besides, in your own words written in a previous e-mail, "When You Can" tells me that you understand what it takes to cut a three hour show for a specific four minute segment.

My favor to you, as well as the others I’ve promised segment copies to, will be done as rapidly as possible.

Hello Lana,

Thank you for re-broadcasting the Jody Carver interview again. :D

I have a question, will there be a possibility the rebroadcast will include a "Pod Cast" for I-Pod users?
