Now that's worth the drive from St. Louis each weekend! Let's see...I can leave from work at 4, get there at 4, sleep for 4, take a lesson on the 1-4-5 for 4...sounds like a plan. I'll bring the coffee!

Where do I sign up. Lets see, only two miles from my house. I'll be there. Seriously, you'll never find a better player to learn from than Jun-Bug.

Sorry Junior...didnt mean to steal your pupils or even appear to persuade Lana......she wouldnt like it here anyway...as we are nearly an hour drive from the World class beaches of Surfers Paradise...same with the Sunshine coast...where every one is friendly.
About Hour and half to Steve Irwins Zoo
Very rarely rains...sunshine all day long....bright coloured birds in the trees......I could go on but you would only think I was trying to sway Lana to come this way....Oh Free Steel lessons too.......
.........Nah......let her come to you !!!

Now let's see...surfer dudes or long tall Texans...decisions, decisions, decisions. Can't I have the best of both worlds?

Not to take away from the purpose of this thread. If I could I would have a standing 8 AM lesson with Junior. Instead he has to deal with the occassional frantic "I'm stuck" phone call when Terry (Bethel) is on the road. Since Terry and Junior are responsible for my love of steel guitar, who better to learn from? Sorry Tony!!!

Jr is ONE of the Best Players-Teachers!

Post by Bill Simmons »

Man I wish I was back in TX!! To have Johnny Cox and Jr Knight a few miles apart giving lessons...I'd go broke running between those two great players for lessons! What they could show us in a couple days would take years of trying to stumble around figuring out things. Best of luck Jr!!

Lessons

Post by Bill Stafford »

Jr., I need a lot of those lessons. Really realized it when Hank Corwin spent the day at my home. Watching guys like him and you play informs me that my steel guitar has hardly ever been used. Wish I was closer or the price of gas would go down..Best to you in your endeavor. Lots of success. Don't miss this chance of a lifetime, guys, to take private lessons from the great Jr. Knight.

I am signed up for some time with Junior towards the end of June. I'm really looking forward to it as I am a huge fan of his playing.
