Years ago I set my school pc to open windows automatically w/o typing in the password. Now I want to change my password and remove that automatic setting but forgot how I did it. My OS is Win2000.
Thanks, Ron

Ron;
Visit Control Panel > Users and Passwords icon. Amidst the settings is one the changes how users log on. Change it to require a user name and password. Click Apply. Change your password if necessary while you are at it, in case any students have learned it. Be sure to leave one password protected account with full Administrator privileges. I would assign the students login identity to the "Users" or "Power Users groups," nothing more, depending on their level of expertise.
