I switched out the speaker that came in the FSK with a Peavey 1501. I hope I didn't get the wires crossed! The white wire is the Positive and the black wire is the negative, right?

In this case, yes. Sometimes that "rule" is ignored, but it's correct on Fenders.

When you're only using one speaker...and one amp, it doesn't make any difference how the speaker is polarized.

I agree with Donny! JBL speakers were always phased backward. A positive pressure on the positive terminal moved the speaker backwards! So a JBL and any other speaker were out phase if wired white wire to red or positive terminals.

Yellow wire is positive for Peavey and blue in negative. Guess they just had to be different!!
