Well here we are, just finished with sound system and listening to Fred Justice & Austin Stewart jamming face to face.

Here's the first of what I hope will be several pics from the show

Hey what a blessing. Indeed this was our 15th year and the best so far. It will be hard work to top this one.
It seemed from the very beginning the players and band were really on top of it and we sensed a great spirit as the music was being presented.
There were so many highlights I'm afraid to mention some because I know I would leave some out.
I can't wait to get started on the 2007 DVD production and editing. I have a feeling the greatest problem will be what not to put on the DVD since we are limited to 2 hours.

Someone left a guitar/bass tuner at the show. It is a Play-on model ET-2005. If you know whose this is, we would like to send it to the rightful owner.

Bill, You did an excellent job with the sound, etc.
Thanks. I must agree with Doug, this is the best show and it keeps getting better. We can't wait to get back next year. Actualy, those legs on Fred are
"chicken legs". Ha!!
A great big thank you to Doug, Stevie and all the staff who made us feel so welcome and "at home". It is always well worth the trip. The Band was outstanding and all the Artist were on top of their game. Thanks to Austin for playing one with me on my set. Enjoyed it. We will put them in a "coma" next time. To the Newberry's who let us trail along on the trip up, we give you big thanks.
Doug and Stevie, once again you have been a great blessing to many of us. Keep up the great work. We are always delighted to have your fellowship. Hope to see all of you soon.
Wayne and Perceline
PS: Cliff, next year "Jericho".

From the looks of Bill's camera work, I had better run a few more miles a week...

Seriously, The Gospel Steel Guitar Convention was a wonderful blend of great music and great fellowship. I feel so blessed to be included by Doug and Stevie. They work so hard (as did Bill, doing a great job on sound) to put on a very special show.

It was great to see everyone there - players and listeners alike, and I just hope that I can be there to see everyone next year.

Thanks for a great one, Doug,
