What happens if an artist dies and there is no next of kin to pay the residuals to (assuming also that there is no post-death instructions given such as a will)?

Are residuals continued to be collected?

I think at a weird level at times. Smile

If there is no will, they will end up in probate court...a lot depends on the publishing contract signed etc...
