Jess Hurt's Toledo Ohio Show Canceled

Hate to post this but it looks like Jess' Show is canceled for 2007...problems with the venue I think. I thought a few years ago when Jess' sister passed that would be the end but Jess hung in there. I've been such a big part of this show for years and years and only missed one. Lots of great folks and steel fans up there and they always treat you so nice. Last year the crowd was huge! Almost full and it was a big room.
I know there are many, many steel shows around but I was sad when Leonard T. Zinn & Evelyn Whitney stopped doing the Grand Rapids show...and now that Jess Hurt's Show has apparently come to an end.
The Toledo Folks will have to come to Indianapolis this weekend for the Indianapolis Gospel Show on May 4th & 5th and then the Indy Steel Show on May 6th.

Who knows...it could be resurected next year, or else it was a good run.

Yes, Don I know what you mean. Some of the better shows are going by the wayside. I also played most of Jess Hurt's shows and also the Grand Rapids show that Leonard T. Zinn held. They are both some of my favorite people in the steel guitar community and held great shows, so we will really miss these. Not just to do a commercial, but I do have a DVD of the Grand Rapids show with you playing drums and the sound and video for a live show is excellent. I have some other videos from this show that are also excellent, so at least we have that as a memory.

I will shut up for now, but it does really bother me when excellent shows like these two get cancelled.
