May's FREE gospel tab-----"An American Trilogy"
Some time ago, a fellow steeler requested a song from the South, maybe "Dixie" and I finally got around to doing something about it.
This month's free tab is "An American Trilogy". This is a compilation of three songs arranged by songwriter Mickey Newbury and made popular by Elvis Presley. He performed it in the 1973 international satellite telecast: "Elvis---Aloha from Hawaii".
"An American Trilogy" is made up of three 19th century songs---"Dixie", the unofficial anthem of the Southern Confederacy; "All My Trials" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic", the marching song of the Union forces during the Civil War.
If you would like to give it a go, just give me a shout and I will put it in the mail for you. If you have not requested tab of me before, I will need your postal mailing address. It is tabbed out for the E9th pedal tuning.
PS: There might be a slight delay in receiving your tab this month as I'll be attending Doug Rolfe's gospel steel guitar show in Indianapolis May 4th and 5th.
Y'all come!
