hey,
does anyone know of a good source for different psg scales and there different positions? i'm just getting started and i have figured out major, minor and seventh chords and their different positions and now im wanting to figure out how to combine lead and chords.

I've spent a small fortune on various learning materials over the last year. Each one has it different strong points. For scales I got the most from this book:
"Mel Bay's Deluxe Pedal Steel Guitar Method"
by DeWitt Scott
200-page Book with CD
It starts a slow, assuming no music experience.

Casey,
I basically figured out the scales on my own.
The chart includes Major, 7th, and Minor scales on the E9 neck, using only the basic A, B & C foot pedals, without needing to engage any knee levers. It is written in my own method, which I believe is detailed, yet easy to follow. It is in "word doc" format. About a year or so ago I sent out between 300 to 400 of these to steelers around the globe.
