Rickenbacher D-8: What's it Worth?

Post by Jim Cohen »

I'm surprised there are no bids on this. Looks awfully clean. Isn't it worth at least the $700 opening bid? I would have thought so...

Acution on eBay.
[This message was edited by Brad Bechtel on 02 August 2006 at 08:24 AM.]

There is no reason to bid until the last few seconds as all that does is raise the price earlier. There have been over 400 viewings from the counter at the bottom so there will likely be a last minute flurry of bids.

Doesn't appear to have horse shoe PU's, otherwise I'd be tempted...

Apparently it's worth $781.61. Received 3 bids in waning moments of the auction.

Do not confuse this model with ANY of the vintage Ricks., you would be disappointed!!! The later models with the wood bodys are a complete failure when it comes to that Rick tone. I have played both, and i would never buy one of these!!!
