For Sale - 2006 Carter D-10 8 & 5

Post by Ronnie Stratton »

2006 Carter D-10 8 & 5. Was bought new in July 2006 and has been out of the house once for a week in Nashville when I took some lessons with Doug Jernigan. Has never been gigged. Axe is in excellent like new condition and has BCT. Color is blonde birdseye maple mica on top with rosewood mica apron. Case of course is like new as well. I am asking $2,450.00 plus shipping. I am out of town at the moment and can send pics upon my return May 3.

I had GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) for awhile and have too many steels!

I will consider trade for an excellent condition Fender T-8 Stringmaster.

Thanks
Ronnie

Gas syndrome

Post by Jim Saunders »

Ronnie, I can tell you that the Gas syndrome is recurring. All symptoms disappear only to reappear. This is usually caused by a dwindling supply of musical instruments and equipment.
And, you have a nice Carter for a great price.

Jim, yea I have more than I need for sure. The Carter is a great guitar but I find myself more and more behind my old Pro-I. Nothing imitates a Sho-Bud to me.

Steve, are you gigging around Bremond anywhere?

Thanks
Ronnie

I forgot to mention in the original post that this guitar is about 1-1/2" over normal height. This was done at the Carter factory by John Fabian when I picked it up. I have pics now so email me of interested.

Thanks
