Does anybody know where he is located at now? I haven't heard anything about him for some time. He was an awesome steel player. So was his brother the late Big Jim Murphy.

Any help locating Wally?

The last account I had of Wally is that he was playing in Florida. He came up a few times for the ISGC in St. Louis but has been absent for the past several years. He used to have the slot just before the Hall of Fame announcements. I'm sure Scotty will know where to find him.

Last I heard he is still in the Orlando, Fl area. I'm not sure where he's picking over there, now.

I heard recently that he was working in a motorcycle shop in Florida; maybe playing occasional gigs too...

Wally was slated to play ISCG last year, but
he got a promotion at his motorcycle job just
beforehand and they couldn't train someone to
fill in his new position on such short notice.
