Just came back from studying with Freddie at the Port Townsend Steel Guitar workshop...amazing!!!!!!!!

A real eye-opener was how many participants had no clue who Freddie is...

I read this in a magazine store a couple of weeks ago-because I didn't want to shell out $9.99 plus sales tax for the issue!


I didn't feel too guilty-I buy alot of music mags at this store.

I asked the girl at the counter why the retail was marked up $3 over the US cover price and she couldn't give me an intelligent answer...maybe if she had I would have bought it.

It was a pretty good article though.
