Hi folks,
I was wondering if someone could please recommend some David Lindley recordings? I'm mainly interested in his Weissenborn playing, but also of course the best of his recordings. What CD would be a good starting point?
Many thanks!
Fred

Live in Tokyo: Playin' Real Good with Hani naser is probably the best place to start. It's the blue one.
Bon Temps Roule, Tiki Torches at Twilight, Rag Bag, Mercury Blues/Doin' Somethin' Wrong, and other good stuff.
Twango Bango Deluxe would be the next one to get, I'd say. It's the first of the Wally Ingram albums, and it has lots of great stuff on it, too (Catfood Sandwiches, Pay Bo Diddley, I am a Patriot, and others).
Those two are fundamental.
