Since my crash and burn I have only dated women that play music. It's a pretty exclusive club.
Not playing music is not a deal breaker, but I'm not gonna get involved with anyone who is not seriously into music some way or other.
Just about anything would be an improvement. My ex didn't even play the radio.

My approach to spousal approval is to take a cue from her:
"it was such a great deal at 40% off, I knew that eventually we would need it, and it won't take up much storage!"
I present all purchases as percentage off retail & I NEVER question her "useless" bargains, I just store 'em & wait for her to buy more.
