Hi Fellow Steelers,
My name is Joe Murray and I live in Fair Oaks, Calif. I started Steel Guitar in 1944. I have a MSA Single 12, B6/E9 with 7 & 4. I play through 2 MSP5 Yamaha powered speakers and a Fender Blues Jr.. I use a Profex II, setting 119. My MSA has a George L E66 pickup. Really great sound. All this is plugged into a Behringer XENY X2442FX Mixer and my wife, Jan, and I sing to music tracks over this system. We do Country & Gospel at special events for whom ever.
Glad to be a member, Joe Murray

Stan, a hardy welcome to you; you are now an official Steel Guitar Forumite; Have any questions, hop right on board and ask. Someone will come to your rescue, eventually.. You'll enjoy it very much..If you like Videos of many of our Steel Guitar players, from every-where; look for listings from a mighty fine gent named Bill Ferguson; under the section of the Forum called "Steel On The Web". Visit that section ,often.. Again, welcome to the SGF..Bernie Rolling Eyes

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I live in Fair Oaks, California. I play a MSA S12/B6/E9. My wife, Jan, and I do Country/Gospel programs for special occasions and it's lots of fun. We make our own tracks to sing and play to plus I use Bobbe Seymour and John Hughey tracks for my instrumentals.

Hello Joe and all new members and welcome to the Forum. It's only been a day for me and the response from some good folks is outstanding. Welcome and hope you enjoy this great site.
Bobbe Seymour is one of my most favorite players.

WOW Looking at your picture real quick, you look like Gene Fields from GFI guitars.
Best of luck
Chuck
