OK Guys, here in North Carolina, there is NO Blue Bell ice cream that I am aware of. It sure does sound good!
I'll be glad to ship a tub of our laundry detergent (which is regional at this point, but we're trying to expand) to one of you in exchange for a half gallon of Blue Bell

cream
I have not seen the commercial but I have tasted Blue Bell ice cream many times. All you guys that have never had any Blue Bell have just missed quality ice cream. It will be interesting to find out who the steel player is on the commercial. I remember a few years ago there was an explosion down at Brenham,Texas where the Blue Bell factory is. I asked if it hurt the Blue Bell factory but never thought about asking if anyone was hurt or killed in the explosion. I think that today I will just buy me some more of that ole Blue Bell.
The answer, maybe?.........
On his webpage there is a blog entry about some live show where he thanks his bandmates:
I must add---his website touts his collaboration with the good folks at Jim Beam. Does this mean that there is a Jim Beam/chocolate chip flavor in the near future? I'm so there! No, wait. I'm totally here. Oh well.

Ward Skinner: Thank you for the info!
I was originally curious if the steel player was an active member of the forum, but apparently not.
It's always a treat when a major advertisement includes a steel guitar, not to mention the video shots of the band.
Now....back to my French Vanilla............

cream
I still have not seen the commercial on television. However, I am at the present time enjoying a bowl of Blue Bell ice cream. I hope they can get a market in some of the other states so you guys can enjoy the quality of this ice cream.
