Many of the SGF members have seen it and there have been discussions about it. Fine guitar.

I don't believe I have ever heard one.
Are they supposed to be exceptional sounding, or just rare. I haven't heard any of Murphy's stuff ( I don't remember)

To the best of my knowledge, both Pee Wee Whitewing & Bobby White played Stand-up T–8 Bigsbys (even with a few pedals) while playing twin~steels for Hank Thompson! At least that's what I remember seeing on TV back in the 50's! I'd sure like to see some of that show again!

Bill, Bobbe Seymour has quite a few demo video's of him playing a Bigsby. Great stuff, definitely worth checking out. Just click 'video clips' on the top left of his page. http://www.steelguitar.net

Bill, if that's not enough, there are many examples of our own Ray Montee playing his '56 Bigsby quad Cool here:

(In A Little Spanish Town, Java, etc.)
