Maybe with Jon Jaffe's help, this song clip will work this time.

I recorded this using a Jeff Newman track. This is a Carter D10 direct (no preamp) to a Yamaha AW4416 recorder.

It was fun and I hope you enjoy.

Thanks so much for the nice comments.

I bought a Yamaha 16 track recorder off ebay a few months back and I'm finally able to half way operate the thing.

I was amazed at how it came out because I made no EQ adjustments. I just worked on getting the balance right with the rhythm track which only took a minute or two.

Dick, that was awesome, You Rock !

I have an AW2816(basically the same machine, half the faders) and record my Carter direct all the time, but I do use an ART Preamp on the front end.

Your playing on this track is really fine , thanks for posting it.
