I am trying to find this song for a fellow steeler that is not into the computer/internet stuff. He wants to learn to play it, but needs a CD, Tape, or something. Does anybody know what album of Lloyds this was on and where it can be purchased?

You can find this song done by LLoyd on his "Shades of Steel" album put out on the Monument label.
A great song and I've been playing it for years on my steel. This album is the reason I play steel today.

George I had a vidio ,may have been Tommy Roots, playing this with the tab that was real close to Greens version of this song,May have already given it to someone,if not and I can find it ,you can have it if you want.Like I said I gave a lot of stuff I had no more use for to a newbee here on the forum,so will have to look to see if I have it,If I can find it you are welcome to it.

This is the only CD I can't find, or at least when I looked a year ago.

Shades of Steel was the very first Steel Guitar LP I ever purchased way back then, I think '75 or so..plus or minus a few days.. I actually found it at the local record shop in Westport Ct, the shop was really a JAZZ Joint, Sally had every Jazz record on the planet, and guess what, she still does and is still in business in 2007. Amazing lady, amazing little store. One of the things she always did and still does is carry CD's of local artists or artists that were born and raised in the area.

I still have the Shades LP in pretty nice shape too..
