Can somebody post the website that has the sound bites of the different woods that dobros are made from please? I think it was Beard dobros, not positive.
It won't be to long before I want to upgrade. I think I want to stay with the Beard guitars. I like this little Beard Goldtone. I can't afford the Mike Auldridge model. That's the one I'd really like to have

can't get them to work
Well, I can't get the sound bites to work. I got them to work before, but they were just audio sound bites. 10 hours to download quicktime. Is there some other way to listen to these sound bites?

active x?
I'm not sure what an active x is. But will I have to download the free quicktime to see the video? If it takes 10 hours to download, I can pass.

You might want to try Rob Anderlik's site. He has a number of sound samples for comparison, too.
