I've bought three guitars and a truckload of strings from George over the years, and never had any problems, he's okay. So my guess is that he's "out of town" for a few days, hopefully there's nothing wrong.

Curt, I've always found George ready & reliable with his communication, so yes, this is out of character for him. Stuff happens...but I'm sure he'll get you squared away with your order.

Yes; George Piburn goes to Hawai'i quite a bit to pick out wood and get some work done....so be patient; as even George has to walk out of the shop every now and then.
George is a VERY VERY reputable seller and promoter of steel guitars; so let him do what he does and he'll get back with you.

Don't worry about George. He is probably in the forests of Hawaii getting wood.

As busy that he has been I would expect him to be on the beach with some clam-diggers and a microcube...

I got a chance to hang out with George in the Non-Pedal Room at the Dallas Convention. He is a straight-forward guy who is passionate about the steel guitar. I bet he'll get right back to you.

Curt;

this is George, speaking through the vessel of HowardR. I've been on a non pedal spiritual journey seeking the Holy Koa. The mystical forests of Hawaii holds many secrets of the steel players of yore that came to me in a spiritual revelation. I was also notified that your credit card was declined. And in this underworld, it's Brad, not b0b!
