A great instrumental awaits you on the home page of the JERRY BYRD Fan Club. Can you play it? What tuning is it in?

Have you heard the beautiful tune by Rex Allen? It's one I grew up with and still get tears in my eyes when I listen to it. Jerry's back-up is fantabulous and would be a good starting point for some of the newer players. I always felt if I could find a reason WHY Jerry played this at this particular point, then I'd own the planet. Never figured it out tho'. But I am convinced that listening extremely closely to all of JERRY's back-up on of his hundreds of recordings........enabled me to better understand the C6th tuning and how he chose to maneuver around in it.

Just came from there. I noticed the Diotonic tunning has 10 strings,,,, never looked at it befor. Theme for a DJ is outragous to say the least. And theres more hot playing here!!!!!!!
